09.29.2011: I had lunch with Mark at this awesome restaurant called Poblana Cocina in Oakland.

Complimentary Chips & Salsa (Cucumber Salsa had some good heat!)

Mark's Lunch: Tres Tacos Carnitas - I know, I know, the photo shows only 2... Mark ate the first taco fast!

My very delicious Shrimp Buritto (half eaten already!)

Dinner at home: Chicken & Chorizo Sausage Stew served over steamed white rice (yum!)

My family and I are so blessed to have good food everyday! I'm so grateful for my awesome life!

09.16.2011: A dear cousin gave me this wall hanging when she came back from Thailand a few years back. It always puts a smile on my face whenever I pass by it. It still amazes me how many of my friends and family gift me with elephant theme items. As a power animal, the elephant symbolizes: power, sacredness, symbolism, heightened sense of smell, versatility, loyalty.

09.09.2011: My husband and I scored two Luxury Suite tickets to the Giants vs. Dodgers game this evening. Complete with all you can eat food & beverages, padded seats, and a great view....We had such a great time!!

09.08.2011: Having dinner together with my family is so important to me. Tonight, I made Garlic Ginger Barbecued Ribs with Roasted Potatoes & Brussel Sprouts Lardons. It took me about 3 hours from start to finish but it's all so worth it for my family!

09.07.2011:  My son's rock collection in a jar. When Ryan was younger, he would collect rocks from diferent places we visited. It's really nice to look through the jar and remember where some of the rocks came from.

09.06.2011: As a Reiki Master/Teacher, I like to charge loving energy to just about anything around my home. These are beautiful stones that I charged with Reiki energy. Each color represents the 7 chakras. I like to leave them by the entrance table for guests to take a few home before they leave.
